Beaded Hearts Craft

We love to express love to one another in our homeschool, and sometimes this takes place when crafting. Creating works of art from the heart for one another. This beaded heart’s craft is a perfect expression of love at any time of the year, especially for Valentine’s Day. One of the crafts that I truly enjoy doing with the kids is beading. It is perfect for children of all ages. If you have young toddlers and preschoolers, this is a perfect craft to help them develop fine motor skills and hand strength with a watchful eye. It can also be a great tool to start developing pattern recognition, an early math skill. Did you ever realize how amazing crafts can be for kids? It helps them develop fundamental skills needed in life while developing their creativity. It also builds bonding moments and excites them about learning. I always like to tie a craft to a learning activity. Before we begin, take a moment and pin this post on your craft board for later!

You most likely have all the supplies you need already in your home. If you don’t, a quick run to your local drugstore or office supply store should be able to supply you with all you need. However, I have included affiliate links to Amazon, where you can purchase everything you will need.

How To Make The Beaded Hearts Craft

What to do:

  1. First, bead the beads onto the pipe cleaner until it is almost full of beads.
  2. Make sure to bend the pipe cleaner on the ends, so the beads do not fall off.
  3. Next, fold the beaded pipe cleaner into a heart shape.
