Candy Cane Craft

Looking for a simple and fun craft this holiday? This candy cane craft is super simple and perfect for even the youngest of children. This craft is perfect for the Christmas season, I personally love pairing it with the book, The Legend of the Candy Cane. This craft is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, as the ripping of the cotton balls will help build up little hands and help improve motor development as well.

What you will need:

You most likely have all the supplies you need already in your home, if you don’t, a quick run to your local drugstore or office supply store should be able to supply you with all you need, however, I have included affiliate links to Amazon where you can purchase everything you will need

What to do:

  1. First, draw a large bubble J or candy cane shape onto the red construction paper.
  2. Next, cut out the candy cane shape.
  3. Then, unroll your cotton balls and rip or cut it into small strips.
  4. Next, glue the cotton ball strips onto the candy cane shape, leaving red space between the cotton strips.
