The Homeschool Confidence Kit: A Free Gift for the Mom Who Questions Everything

Every year around this time, something funny happens. The pencils get sharpened, the fresh books get stacked in a hopeful little pile, and somewhere underneath all that new year energy, a quiet voice shows up asking the same question it always does.

Am I doing enough?

I have been homeschooling for more than thirteen years, and I still feel that wobble every single August. The, did I pick the right thing, am I enough, ” and ” are we behind wobble. If you feel it too, you are in very good company, and I made you something for exactly this feeling.

This is not another planner. There are no schedules to fill and no boxes telling you how far behind you are. It is a reflection resource for the days you second-guess yourself, the days you need proof you are doing better than you think, and every ordinary day in between.

Here is what is inside:

  • Your Homeschool Why, to anchor your purpose so you can return to it on the hard days
  • Doubt vs. Truth, a worksheet to answer that loud inner critic with what is actually true
  • The You Are Enough permission slip, a personal note from me to you
  • The Small Wins log, because the real question was never am I doing enough, it is what went right today
  • Your Support Circle, so the isolation has somewhere to go
  • Affirmation cards to cut out for your mirror, your planner, and your coffee maker

Print it once, keep it close, and pull it out on the day you need it most.

A little honesty, because you deserve it

I am not going to tell you homeschooling is effortless, because that would be a lie, and lies do not help anyone. Some days are chaotic. Some days you will question the whole thing. That does not mean you made the wrong choice. It means you are a human being doing something hard and worthwhile.

Choosing traditional school is not a failure. Changing your curriculum halfway through the year is not a failure. Resting when you are worn thin is not a failure. Doing what is right for your family, whatever that turns out to be, is always the win.

Your kids do not need a perfect teacher. They need you, present and human. That is the whole assignment, and you are already doing it.

How to use your kit

Start with just one page. Sign the permission slip. Write down one small win from today, even a tiny one, especially a tiny one. Name one person in your support circle you can reach out to this week. You do not have to do it all today. You just have to keep going, and it all adds up.

One more thing before you go

The Confidence Kit is also my contribution to this year’s 2026 Back to Homeschool Giveaway, where I have teamed up with a group of homeschool bloggers to give four families a $200 gift card for their favorite homeschool company. So while you are here grabbing your free kit, you can also enter to win. It runs August 3 through 12, and everyone who enters gets a whole Resource Guide of homeschool goodies too.
