Judy Moody and Friends: Jessica Finch in Pig Trouble Review
Judy Moody and Friends: Jessica Finch in Pig Trouble by Megan McDonald illustrated by Erwin Madrid. This book is about a girl named Jessica Finch who is obsessed with pigs! She dreamed of one day having her very own pet potbellied pig. Her birthday was approaching so she decided that she needed her very best friend help her spy for presents. She enlisted Judy to help, they searched Jessica’s parents’ bedroom for presents, if they found presents they knew a pet potbellied pig was not in Jessica’s near future. A lot of fun and interesting things happen in this book. Told in only three chapters, this book makes the perfect transition for readers that are beyond easy readers but not quite ready for chapter books. The bright illustrations add more expressiveness to the story and will further engage readers.
