Parent Review of Sir Princess Petra’s Mission
Do you love books that break boundaries? Then you may enjoy Sir Princess Petra’s Mission by Diane Mae Robinson. This book is breaking stereotypes and gender roles one King and Queen at a time.
The Third Book in an Amazing Series
Sir Princess Petra’s Mission is the 3rd installment in the series of a precocious little girl who happens to be the princess and first Knight of Pen Pieyu. Sir Princess Petra also has a non-princess-like talent certificate from Talent School. The King and Queen are not pleased with Sir Princess Petra’s un-princessy traits. So her father, the King writes up more confusing and silly rules in the royal rule book to deter Sir Princess Petra from her Knightly ways and “useless” talent.
Fighting the Odds and Staying True to Oneself
The King sends her on a dangerous and dire mission to find and capture a Car-Panther! She must do this mission all alone to save her Knighthood. Of course, Petra uses her intelligence to find a loop hole and take her best buds along on her mission. Will Sir Princess Petra fulfill her ridiculous mission? Can she capture a Car-Panther? How will she even find one?
This book was
Sir Princess Petra’s Mission was a fun, engaging and a hilarious book. It was an adventure that you never wanted to end. Sir Princess Petra’s intelligence, good heart, and honesty inspire the reader to be more like Petra and believe in oneself and what is important to them. We absolutely loved this book including all the words in their made up language. We are early anticipating more books!
