Spring Cleaning with Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda

Did you know that you can clean your home safely with household products like Baking Soda? Baking Soda is a great way to clean your home without all those harsh chemicals, plus it is super affordable. Before I share tips on how to start spring cleaning your home with Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda, take a minute to pin this post.

What can you do with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

I actually love Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda for baking and science experiments. I have tried it occasionally with cleaning and even beauty hacks. But I have never replaced every cleaner I have with just one small, simple product.

Safe and Affordable Spring Cleaning

Did you know that a box of Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda goes for about $1.00 at retail? It can also replace any cleaner you have! It is a 100% safe and effective way to clean your home.

As you know, I have the little ones, and I don’t like them being around all the fumes of other cleaners. I hate having to open all my windows to ventilate the house, especially when it is cold out!  Luckily, ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda seems to be working for me.

Spring Cleaning Tips on how to clean your Bathroom!

Check out my tips and tricks on how to clean your bathroom in this post.

Did you know that you can:

  • Clean toilets
  • bathtubs
  • showers
  • sinks
  • mirrors
  • launder bath mats, towels, and washcloths
  • scrub counters and all surfaces (tile grout, tub, and sinks)
  • vacuum and mop floors
  • vinyl shower curtains

Clean Toilets:

With a damp cloth and a sprinkle of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda, the outside of your toilet sparkles. Just don’t forget to rinse.

I used ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and water with a toilet brush to scrub out any mold and marks in the toilet. It’s great because it cleaned and deodorized the toilet!

Counters, Tubs and other surfaces:

With a damp cloth and a sprinkle of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda, you can scrub down any surface in your bathroom. I went over the walls, tub, sink, and even shower curtain. Again rinse.

Bath Mats and Shower Curtains:

Although I washed down my shower curtain with ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and water, a better way of cleaning these items is to put a 1/2 a cup of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda into the wash with your detergent to give it an extra boost and deodorize.

Deodorizing Drains:

Sometimes we get a stench that comes up throughout drains. To deodorize your sink and tub drains and keep lingering odors from resurfacing, pour a 1/2 cup of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda down the drain while running warm tap water.

Cleaning the Floor:

This is what I have found the most effective and the thing that blew me away. We had actually had adhesive tiles on our bathroom floor, and we pulled them up to get our original tiles which are small glass tiles. The grout was disgusting, and no matter how much scrubbing, it would never come clean. It was on the honey-do list, but we have never gotten around to re-grouting. When I used a 1/2 cup of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and some warm water, the dirt in the grout just rubbed right off. I saw AMAZING results, which you can check out in the embedded video below. I will be doing it again to get more off. It will be as good as new in a few washes, which is amazing because they are ancient and have been through a lot!
