I don't homeschool because it is easy.
It isn't easy. There are things that are difficult in homeschooling. Heck, sending them to school for 6 hours a day would be a heck of a lot easier. I homeschool because it works for my family.
Education and curiosity, the willingness to constantly learm and try is super important to me, it is something that can't ever be taken away from you. Homeschooling provides this to my children and to me. I am constantly learning with them.

What is work like for me?
I work everyday from the moment I wake up till the moment I close my eyes. It is called motherhood.
My week days are filled with homeschooling my kids, keeping kids safe online with my "outside" job at Bark and my own thing, my website which provides parenting advice, educational resources and homeschool support.

I forgot to post what we did on Saturday! When I finished work on Saturday we all sat down to create their September @kiwico_inc boxes. AJ created a disk launcher and learned about inertia. Isabella created a light up planetarium which she is now obsessed with so we are about to do a deep dive into constellations. (Day: 5/31) Prompt: Saturday

Sunday morning is just as busy as the rest of the week.
Between waking up early to get my work done before I go to church and take my kids to their religious education classes and then coming home and doing last minute planning and prep for the homeschool week life never calms down.
