What is Fundanoodle?
I know I have previously posted a little bit about Fundanoodle and how we use it in our little lessons with AJ. But maybe you have never heard of Fundanoodle before. Today I am answering your question “what is Fundanoodle?”
Fundanoodle is an educational readiness program designed by pediatric occupational therapist and elementary school teachers to develop and improve motor skills needed for success in and out of the classroom.
Why did I become a Founding Fundanoodle Ambassador
Fundanoodle is a fairly new company, their ambassador program turned two years old in January of 2018. In July of 2016, I learned about the company and their products. First I wanted the whole product line! I saw the value in the products and I knew my children could benefit from them. Then I saw the opportunity in joining forces and working with this company. First I would get the product line at a discount. Secondly, I would be on the ground floor learning and grow with this company. Third I get to share my knowledge that I have learned while working with other companies. Fourth they have an amazing support team, the ambassadors work together unlike any other company I know.
The main attraction
The major thing that drew me to Fundanoodle was a simple fact that they have the same principles as I do. After listening to April Whitlock the CEO of Fundanoodle talk about her job to instill the passion for learning in preschool children. I realized that I had a lot in common with her and her company. I believe that children learn from an early age and that we should follow these natural inquisitive stages of their lives. I believe that learning should be fun and our children should be empowered to do things themselves.
What are these amazing products?
There are a bunch of amazing products including getting the wiggles out game, ingeniously designed workbooks, muscle mover alphabet cards, and so much more. I am going to share a few of our favorites.
What age range are these toys for?
These items were designed for children ages 2 to 6. These products help kids get ready for kindergarten. It helps them build their muscles in their hands and their upper body so they are ready to sit at a desk and learn when they get into kindergarten. AJ age 4 loves his Fundanoodle activities and I have seen such a dramatic change in the way he holds a pencil and crayon. Hearing him ask, “Mommy I want to play Fundanoodle.” is such a great sound because he doesn’t look at it as work, he looks at it as play.
Using these products with older children.
While Isabella is 8 years still gets some use out of these activities. She likes using the I Can Pound Kit with Cursive Writing Printouts and the Cursive Writing Workbook. I will share how we are using some of these products with her in future posts.
There has been so much interest and questions regarding Fundanoodle that I thought creating this post would be beneficial. As I am reaching my 900+ words in this post I am realizing I have a lot to talk about and share. Therefore, I will be posting a Fundanoodle post for the next few weeks. Either addressing questions, highlighting products or sharing how we use them in our homeschool.
