‘Who Was Anne Frank?’ written by Ann Abramson illustrated by Nancy Harrison is a book that will teach you all about the life of Anne Frank, from her early childhood before the Holocaust to after and how her story touched millions of lives.
Has your child ever heard of Anne Frank before? Her story is one that no one should have to live through; it makes you wonder how you would have coped in such a frightening situation.
‘Who Was Anne Frank’ is an inspiring story for all kids. It covers scary topics such as War, the Holocaust, the Great Depression, and of course death. It is a book that like all the books in this series will teach you a lot and give you a ton of facts. This book helps your child grow not only to learn some history. It will help your child grow in empathy and compassion. It will open their eyes to the cruelty in our world as well as love, beauty, and strength. Your child may have questions and concerns; be there for them to ask questions and share their thoughts. Let Anne inspire them, let them see that nothing, not even the painful, scary stuff can stop you.
